been running together in NASCAR and ARCA for over 30 years.

After a 22 race 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series Season, Tim is 21st in 2008 Driver points and car #06 is 25th & Wayne is 33rd in Drivers points and car #0 is 37th in owner points.    The #06, and #0 will each be in the ARCA ABC plan for
2009 with the #06 on the ARCA Golden A Plan for the 2009 season.      
2007 ARCA Season Tim Mitchell was 17th in final 2007 ARCA REMAX Series Driver points.  The #06 was 23rd in points followed by the #0 in 32 place in the 2007 final Owners Points.  The #06, and #0 will each be in the ARCA ABC
plan for 2008 with the #06 on the ARCA Golden A Plan for the 2008 season.

05/17/09 Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care at Toledo Speedway. Barry in #06 (Timex) '08 Ford Fusion started 23rd but lost the clutch at the start of the race to finish 34rd.  The new PetersonMotorsports team driver
Zach Gibson from Richwood, Ohio will make his ARCA RE/MAX debut in the #0 (Ray) '05 Monte Carlo starting 25 and finishing 27th. Zach had to pit when the shifter came loose twice early in the race losing several laps. a late spin when
Zach was hit in the rear by #2 causing sheet metal damage to rear bumper & right rear quarter but was able to finish the race.

05/09/09
Drive Smart Buckle-Up Kentucky 150 at Kentucky Speedway. Barry in #06 -Timex ('08 Ford Fusion) blew a motor in practice and DNS. Butch started the race in #0 - Ray ('06 Monte Carlo) and switched driver to Barry on
lap 2. The motor in #0 broke a timingbelt finishing 34th at Kentucky Speedway .

04/24/09
Talladega ARCA 250 at Talladega Superspeedway.  Barry in  Carpenetti's Pizza Ford #06 qualified 38th and finished 31 with water coming out the exhaust pipes.  Butch Jarvis in Steris Dodge #0 qualified 19th & finished 40th
after an accident on lap 3 when car # 4 blew a motor and pulled down in front of Butch. Wayne Peterson in NEALCO Chevy #10 qualified & finished 41st.

04/19/09  
Carolina 200 at Rockingham Speedway live on SPEED TV. Butch was in the #0 chevy. Berry drove the #06 Ford & brushed the wall in qualifying. We made repairs and started in the race.  Barry pitted under green to remove
the windshield tearaways. Berry in the #06 ran the whole race and finished 27th. Butch in the #0 did a start and park as planned.   

Butch tested 3rd fasted out of 17 cars in the afternoon section open testing in Talladega.  Please go and post your support on our Team Blog.

Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 at Salem Speedway, Berry drove the #06 and Butch drove the #0 in practicing.  Both of these car are new.  They drove the cars nice and easy to work out the kinks and prepare them for the
next race  at Rockingham Speedway.  Timex just got updated with complete new nose and tail designed for intermediate tracks. The #0 will be Butch in the "06 Monte Carlo called Ray with a new motor.  Live Internet coverage of timing &

Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona Int'l Speedway. 13th place finish for Barry Fitzgerald in car #06 TheBusPlace.com Ford Fusion at  on February 07, 2009. Barry was one of only 3 race leaders. The car had rear axle
problems while leading on lap 36. The team went behind the wall to make repairs. Barry returned and advanced from 29th place to finish 13th. Butch Jarvis DNQ in the car #0 which is a new Steris Dodge.

The
2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series season has started. Wayne Peterson Motorsports is proud to announce that Barry Fitzgerald will be driving the TheBusPlace.com-NEALCO #06 and Butch Jarvis/Blountville TN will be driving the
Tennessee Mountain Boys #0 for Daytona. PetersonMotorsports is looking for needed Sponsorship for the remaining races.

10/12/08 - final race of 2008 at the
Hantz Group 200 by Belle Tire at Toledo Speedway,  Tim ran a few laps and parked early.  We could not gain another position in points and we did not want to mess up a speedway car on this short
track.

10/03/08 -
ARCA 250 at Talladega Superspeedway. Tim finished 19th in new #06 FREEGEEKPENN.ORG Ford Fusion at Talladega on Friday after a 42nd place start. The car went to 7 cylinders early in the race but, the team the team
found the loose plug wire and made the repair during the caution laps. The Team had to replace the radio wiring in the car during a couple of cautions in mid race and did not loose a lap.

09/28/08 -
Loud Energy Drink 150 at the new 2.3 mile road course Thunderbolt Raceway of New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville NJ.

FOUR SEASONS Chevrolet (Ray) Finished 39th (lost engine) and James Hylton in the #0 finished 26th still running. Rain shortened race due to weather.   Press Release

09/13/08 - Eddie Gelstrap Motors 200 at Salem Speedway
Tim Mitchell  in the #06 Star Wheels Chevrolet (Dusty) finished 30 after he qualified 27th and Wayne Peterson in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet (Ray) practiced but DNQ. Tim made a good first qualifying lap, but spun the car on the 2nd lap
backing into the wall.  Tim start a backup car (Ray) as #06 and lost the clutch early.  Tim parked with every thing else in good shape. Ray is a good speedway car and there was no need to hurt the car.  Race will be on Mav TV

09/06/08 -
Chicagoland ARCA 200 .
Tim Mitchell  in the #06 Star Wheels Chevrolet (Ray) qualified 37 and finished 34th and Wayne Peterson in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet (Dusty) DNQ.  The car lost 4 gear and Tim parked with every thing else in good shape. Ray is a good
speedway car and there was no need to hurt the car.  There were several things that had to be fixed on Dusty and ARCA did a complete speedway inspection, requiring fuel cell to be pulled and every thing else. These added task caused
the team to be late and miss practice, so the #0 DNQ.

09/01/08 -  
Southern Illinois 100 at De Quin Illinois mile Dirt Track.
Tim Mitchell  in the #06 Star Wheels Chevrolet (Dusty) Spun on lap one of qualifying and made contact with the inside wall causing minor damage to the rear on the car. During the spin the motor rotated backwards causing internal damage.
Because it was Tim's first lap, the #06 DNQ for this race.  Wayne Peterson in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet (Ray) Qualified and finished 36th.

08/17/08 -
Allen Crowe 100 at Springfield Illinois mile Dirt Track
Tim got hit in the rear by car #20 on Lap 23 that put him in the Wall to finish 34th. Tim Qualified 29 in #06 Ford, Rodger. Wayne lost the oil belt on the new car dusty #0,  the motor was damaged. Wayne & Avery work that week getting a
motor ready for a new short track Chevy Monte Carlo we call "Dusty". Motor installed on Tuesday & Wednesday.

08/09/08 -
Toyota ARCA 150 at Nashville Superspeedway
Tim Mitchell  in the #06 Star Wheels Ford (Rodger) finished 24 and Wayne Peterson in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet (Ray) finished 41. Team put in a fresh motor in #06, Rodger, for Nashville. We had an oil line drag in practice & caught fire.
Tim was slowing down when oil dumped in front of the rear tires and spun the car. It burned the paint off the rear bumper cover. The Crew made repairs and replaced the oil line in time for qualifying.  Tim had a good race gaining points on
all the teams we are chasing.

08/02/08 -
Pennsylvania 200 at Pocono Raceway
Tim Mitchell  in the #06 RDF2,LLC Ford (Rodger) finished 27th after a start of 36th.  Tim had a good run, but lost several positions when we lost all but 4th gear for the last 3 restarts.  Wayne Peterson in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet (Ray)
qualified 37th but pulled the entry so James Hylton could get in the race with the #08.

07/26/08 - Berlin
ARCA 200
Tim Mitchell  in the #06 ProFox Racing/Star Wheels Skate Center Ford (Rodger) started 29th and finished 24th and Wayne Peterson in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet (Ray) started 31st and finished 30th.  Tim in #06 pushed a little water out
during cautions but was running well in the race until the motor blew just past half way.  Wayne did a start & park in #0. Delay  TV coverage on MAV TV starts on 8/1/08 at 8 pm.

07/18/08 - Kentucky
ARCA RE/MAX 150
Tim Mitchell  in the #06 ProFox Racing/Star Wheels Skate Center Ford (Rodger) finished 35th after starting 39th and Wayne Peterson DNQ in the #0 Nealco Ford (Timex got bent up in qualifying).  Tim Mitchell  in the #06 had a bad
vibration in practice that damaged power train. We had to make more repairs after qualifying from the vibration.  #06 fell out at mid race due to an oil pan leak that could not be repaired at the track and time allowed.  The crew made a
quick repair after qualifying & did a great job and we want to thank them all.

06/29/08 - 250 laps at
Cayuga Motor Speedway in Ontario Canada
Tim Mitchell  in the #06 Star Wheels Skate Center Ford finished 22nd after starting 30th and Wayne Peterson started & finished 33rd in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet.  The #06 stripped a rear axle to wheel drive plate coming out of the pits late
in the race. This allows the axle turn without the wheel turning, so the car stops pulling. Tim was running in the top 20 when it broke. This was the first time for Tim & Wayne at this 5/8 mile short track. Long time friend Tony Hawn along
with Jesse Hawn, Larry Benson and Gates Ouimet, all from Ontario Canada, helped crew the cars at Cayuga Speedway.  They did a great job and we want to thank them all.

06/14/08 -  
Race for Wildlife 200 at Michigan Speedway
Tim Mitchell started 37nd and finished 35th in the #06 Star Wheels Skate Center Ford and Wayne Peterson in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet ran fast enough to qualify, but pulled the car to allow #08 James Hylton in the race. The race start was
rain delay to Saturday at 8:30am. #06 was hit in the right side by #09 causing Tim to spin into the grass & lost 4 laps total with green flag pit stop. The race was televised same day delayed on SPEED.

06/07/08 -
Pocono 200 at Pocono Raceway
Tim Mitchell started 34th and finished 21st in the #06 RDF2 LLC Construction/Luigi's Deli Ford and Wayne Peterson started 31st and finished 38th in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet.  Good run and finish for used tires.

05/18/08 -
Hantz Group 200 by Federated Car Care at Toledo Speedway
Tim Mitchell in the #06 Star Wheels Skate Center Ford started 32nd and finished 29th. The #06 was involved in several on track accidents that put us in a hole, but prevailed to a strong finish in the race. Wayne Peterson is in the #0 Nealco
Chevrolet DNQ.

05/11/08 -
Drive Smart! Buckle Up Kentucky 150 at Kentucky Speedway
Tim Mitchell in the #06 Star Wheels Skate Center Ford started 36th and finished 26th  and Wayne Peterson is in the #0 Nealco Chevrolet started 41st and finished 40th. Tim chased Brad Smith for most of the race, passing him and pulling
away in the last 15 laps.

05/04/08 -
Carolina 500 at Rockingham Speedway
Tim in the #06 Star Wheels Skate Center Ford started 39th and finished 24th and Wayne Peterson in the #0 NEALCO Chevrolet started 49 and finished 50th. This was a long 312 mile race and the team made 11 pit stops to change tires.  
The race started  at 12:00 noon EST on Sunday and was televised on LIVE on SPEED TV.

04/25/08 -
Kansas Lottery $150 Grand at the Kansas Speedway
Tim in the #06 Star Wheels Skate Center Ford finished 29th in the Kansas Lottery $150 Grand at the Kansas Speedway after starting 37th. The car started the race with a bad push. The #06 lost 2 laps on a green flag pit stop at lap 71, but
made more adjustments to improve car  handling.  Wayne Peterson in the #0 NEALCO Chevrolet DNQ.  The race started  at 4:00pm on Friday and was televised on SPEED TV next day, Saturday night, at 8:30 EST.

04/19/08 -  
Prairie Meadow 250 at the Iowa Speedway.
Tim Mitchell in the #06 Star Wheels Skate Center Ford started 22nd, the field was set by 2007 owners points.  With Friday practice being rained out and only a few laps on Saturday morning, the car had a bad push in the turns. With the
push, the speed thru the turns was way down. The team elected to bring the car behind the wall to make changes rather than risk blowing a tire and/or wrecking the car. The changes improved the handling and the times picked up but were
still not what we wanted. Tim finished 30th.  Tim in the #06 Star Wheels Skate Center Ford and Wayne Peterson in the #0 NEALCO Chevrolet will load up for Kansas Speedway.

04/13/08 -  
Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 at Salem (Indiana) Speedway.
Tim Mitchell in the #06 Star Wheels Skate Center  Ford had new car blues. The team had to work the bugs out of Timex with just a few practice laps. After replacing the carb in line for tech, qualification went south when the window net
came loose.  Wayne Peterson in the #0 NEALCO Chevrolet practiced, but DNQ.

02/13/08 -
Daytona ARCA 200:Tim Mitchell finishes 21st in #06.  Tim started 42nd,near the back, in the #06 Peterson Motorsports Star Wheels Chevrolet and slowly moved in to the top 15 by mid race. Tim got as high as 9th before
ignition problems slowed the car resulting in  21st finishing position..  The race was live on SPEED Channel Saturday, February 9.
Butch Jarvis in the #0 Peterson Motorsports Chevrolet had a good qualifying speed of 175.576, but due to the strong field of development drivers and CUP cars did not qualify for the race.
The next race is the Palm Beach road course ARCA 150 on Sat, February 27th, 2010.

2010 Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona Int'l Speedway. Barry in #06 finishes 29th in a team car called Smokey '08 Ford Fusion. Barry ran as high as 5th but was hit in the rear on lap 57 by car # 6 coming out of turn 2 spinning and flipping
5 times before coming to rest on all 4 wheels.  Butch Jarvis in the Steris #0 a 2010 Dodge Charger qualified 24th and finished 41st after being T boned in the drivers door during the big wreck on lap 7. Race @ 4:30 pm EST, TV coverage on
SPEED. Barry got the above photo in many news papers and the live
TV coverage. Replay of video on sporting news shows and youtube. The photo show our sponsors and car number, but there has to be a better way to get press coverage.
Barry was not injured in the flips.

Sarah Louise Greene Peterson, age 67, passed on February 9, 2008.
Wife of Wayne Peterson of Pulaski TN and mother of Michael Peterson of Hoover AL, Brian Peterson of Ashville NC,
and Kevin Peterson of Huntsville AL.  She had 5 grandchildren, Brianna & Benjamin Peterson of Hoover AL, and
Danielle, Nicholas, and Kayla of Huntsville AL.  She was a school teacher / guidance counselor of 31 years and retired
in 2000 due to effects of Alzhimer's.  In retirement she worked and traveled with the family stockcar race team in the
ARCA REMAX Series all over the United Stated.

Wayne Has already headed to Jacksonville FL with the Palm Beach cars Rodger and Ray.
Larry and Breck Wilson helping prepare the cars for the road course.  Avery headed to
Jacksonville this week.


At Daytona, Barry finished 29 in #06 after flipping 5 times coming out of turn 2. Butch got
caught up in a lap 7 accident finishing 41 after a strong 24 place qualifying in #0.

Peterson Motorsports wish condolences to the family of Janet Applegate of Ocean Gate N.J., who passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 after a long battle with
cancer.  Her son, Mike Nemo and his family have been critical Peterson Motorsports team members for 5 years. Our prayers go out to Mike Nemo and his family.
