crew chief for a local short track team. He drove & won at
various short tracks in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida
in the 60's 70's and 80's. He won the Huntsville Alabama track
championship in 1969 and was a Peterson Motorsports team
driver in the NASCAR Dash Series and ARCA REMAX
Series in the late 70's and 80's.

Wayne Peterson Motorsports helps train future crew members from the University of Northwestern Ohio. Several of these
students have work with the team for a season during the last 5 years. 2009 has 4 new students from UNOH that joined the
Team at Daytona and will be taught each pit crew positions and all the activities in preparing and maintaining a race car. This
brings real world experience to support the education and training from UNOH.
